MLogica CEO's Presentation of New BI Solution Featured at IBM IOD Conference in Las Vegas

As part of IBM’s Change the World Success Story Program, Amit Okhandiar, president and CEO of mLogica, presents a case study focusing on his company's success at deploying an IBM Data Warehouse for client Capital Network Inc. (CNI).

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ANAHEIM, Calif. / PR FREE / Oct 18 2007 --
MLogica, Inc. today announced that Amit Okhandiar, president and CEO, is presenting at IBM’s partner summit meeting at the 2007 IBM Information On Demand conference at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. MLogica is also showcasing their Business Intelligence Solution in the IBM pavilion at the exposition. Mr. Okhandiar is participating in an IBM Partner Panel Discussion, speaking about mLogica’s success, in conjunction with IBM’s Change the World Success Story Program, with IBM’s Data Warehouse Solution for one of its clients, Capital Network Inc. (CNI). mLogica deployed IBM’s Data Warehouse for CNI to consolidate, manage and capitalize CNI’s diverse data sources.

CNI offers an extensive range of both onshore and offshore funds with leading names such as Citifunds, Barclays, J P Morgan, Fidelity, Morgan Stanley, UBS and Wells Fargo and as they do not manage any funds, they are able to offer objective advice. With this background and the critical requirement for up-to-date information CNI needed to find a system that was capable of providing key information on a timely basis. This is where CNI teamed up with mLogica to review their needs and provide a solution.

CNI’s business was growing with an increasing volume and variety of data within their trade ticketing and financial systems. This increase in business, and the management of it, was starting to highlight serious deficiencies in the structure and integrity of the manual systems being utilized at the time.

After completing their discovery process, mLogica recommended the immediate deployment of a IBM Dynamic Data Warehouse. This affordable solution simplified the deployment, integration and maintenance of its data warehouse and quickly provided CNI management with a single view of the business and allow them to access data on demand from diverse and disparate sources.

“We are a financial services company with an increasing amount and variety of data. We knew that we were not leveraging this data effectively, however, and we did not have the technical expertise on staff. We have had quite a bit of experience working with mLogica on many data oriented matters in the past. MLogica, in conjunction with IBM, have provided us with an effective and efficient - and low cost - solution to our warehousing needs,” said Neil Cheatham, president, CNI.

Now that the IBM Dynamic Data Warehouse solution has been deployed and is contributing to business management and growth, significant business benefits are being appreciated throughout the company. CNI objectives of an increase in sales, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency were comfortably achieved; however, many other major benefits are now being seen that were not included in the original goals.

MLogica provided CNI the opportunity to build a data warehouse at a price it could afford. Now it is ready to grow business and investments into the future.
