FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
COLUMBUS, IN / PR FREE / Feb 07 2007 --
In its annual meeting in Palm Beach Florida this year, the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys ('http://www.ABPLA.org') announced the new presidency of Thomas William Malone of Atlanta, Georgia. The ABPLA board certifies attorneys in the specialty areas of medical malpractice, legal malpractice, and accounting malpractice. The ABPLA is accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) to board certify lawyers in these specialized areas of practice. The election of Tommy Malone as president replaces the long and valuable tenure of Harvey F. Wachsman, M.D., J.D. of New York.

Accepting the presidency, Mr. Malone immediately announced his vision for greatly expanding public awareness of the importance to all members of the public who see to locate vetted attorneys who prosecute or defend these complex cases in the areas of medical malpractice, legal malpractice and accounting malpractice. As public awareness grows, more attorneys will be determined to become board certified through ABPLA. To accomplish this goal, Malone has unveiled a plan to create a portal type Web site for ABPLA.org where the public can access malpractice resources and locate top board certified malpractice attorneys. The ABPLA.org Web site also provides a means for board certified malpractice lawyers to share resources.

For over forty years, Malone has led the Malone Law office and developed a reputation for excellence in the representation of the injured. Malone has become well known for delivering a "Tradition of Excellence" to those he represents. He has been referred to by The Atlanta Journal Constitution as "one of the state's top malpractice attorneys" and named as "one of the top 100 Georgians" by Georgia Trend. His leadership of the ABPLA will bring home to the public the importance of retaining Board Certified Attorneys for the prosecution and defense of serious medical malpractice, legal malpractice and accounting malpractice cases.
